Polypropylene (PP) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic produced by the polymerization of propylene. With a density of only 0.895 - 0.910 g/cm³ it is the lightest of the common commodity plastics, and its high melting point, stiffness and chemical resistance make it suitable for woven bags, injection moulded parts, fibers, BOPP film and pipes.
